What type of connection do I need?
Our service requires a reliable, dedicated Internet connection. This connection could be 56K, ISDN, cable modem, DSL, T1 or T3. The faster your connection, the faster your backups will run.

I use AOL to connect to the internet. Will BackupLasVegas.com work with AOL?
Yes, but it can only work in the manual mode and you will need to sign on to your AOL account each time you want to backup. This is due to the fact that AOL does not use a Dial-Up Networking Connection and therefore, It can not establish an internet connection on its own. There are several other companies that have a proprietary dial-up system, the same is true of all of them.
