Is my data encrypted as it travels over the Internet?

Yes. All data is encrypted before it leaves your computer, only you have the key.

What do I do if I lose my encryption password?
Lost passwords cannot be recovered. They are NEVER transmitted to our servers. We have NO WAY of getting them back. BackupLasVegas.com recommends keeping multiple copies of your encryption password(s) in safe, secured remote locations.
